I've been wanting to start a Petato blog for ages, and have just never really been able to figure out what to do with it. I finally decided... let's just start it up and see what happens and how it develops!
So here it is.
This is one of my dogs, Bucket and one of my kittens, Fern. Bucket was adopted from an awful Brooklyn 'shelter' which I think has been shut down... he was beat up and filthy... when we brought him home my neighbor petted him and said he couldn't get the smell off of his hand for a week. Bucket is a character.I was walking a Petato pup named Fern one day, and we came across a woman with a box that said 'Free Kittens'. I was fully convinced that I could look at kittens without taking any home, but when I looked in the box there were 3 tiny tiny kittens, obviously too young to be separated from their mother... the woman immediately gave one of the kittens to someone walking by. I really didn't think they should be separated from each other, so I took the last two.... they were flea ridden and too young to eat or go to the bathroom on their own. I will spare you the details on how I had to facilitate bathroom usage. Anyway, I named this one Fern after doggie Fern... she and her sister Banana were 3 weeks old and weighed half a pound each. Now they're just over a year old and the most beautiful kitties ever... except for yours of course :)
